Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot: Liz Earle's Cleanse And Polish

This week I have the hots for something new. Now before you panic I'm not about to run off into the sunset with Ed Westwick, I'm talking about a new skincare favourite.

I first heard about Liz Earle's Cleanse And Polish from good ol' Vivianna and Lily; word on the street is that it's the perfect 'gate way cleanser'. As a self confessed 'skincare safey' I'll admit I was a little dubious; would my seriously sensitive skin be up to the challenge?

Apparently it was; and after just one hot cloth session I was sold. Hook, line and sinker.

Here are the basics...

First impressions are everything...
Unlike my usual cleansers this one does have a scent however it's nothing too perfumey or strong. Its smells super fresh and natural - very Eucalyptus-y, if you will.
I found the product itself to be really creamy and gentle, and was really easy to work into the skin.
I was also really pleased to discover a good ol' pump owing for no messy spillages or any Gellar-like  explosions (another Friends reference - oops!).

'The Regime'...
This routine could not be simpler, just one pump is enough to remove all of my makeup and leave me silky smooth and fresh. I often use gentle cotton pads to sweep away my eye makeup and then it's time to get hot...

So what's the deal with this 'hot cloth'?
Liz Earle muslin cloths really are amazing - I'm accumulating quite the collection! They're firm enough to remove any makeup or dead skin cells, without being too harsh or rough.
I simply apply piping hot water to the cloth, give it a second to cool and then use to .. erm polish.
Hey Presto!

The Verdict
It's official, I'm impressed. So impressed, in fact that this one's managed to worm it's way into my daily skincare routine.
I'm finding my skin smoother, clearer and super soothed; making this one a clear winner in my eyes.
Whilst Cleanse And Polish doesn't boast any fancy anti-ageing action or crazy skincare claims, it really 'does what it says on the tin' - leaving skin super clean and fresh.

After all if it's good enough for my two favourite bloggers, it's definitely good enough for me!

xx
