July's beauty favourites...

After a busy couple of months, it was time to take a moment out from blogging and concentrate on enjoying life. It's been a hectic time - I've had a holiday, had my final results from university, and started an amazing new job.

With graduation just around the corner, I'm feeling much more settled and ready to take my first tentative steps back into the world of blogging.

I figured the best way to ease myself back into all things bloggy was with a good, ol' monthly favourites - are you ready and set for my mid-month favourites?

Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop

This month I've discovered a new blush - and I love it!

I've been toying with the idea of switching things up, and trying some new shades for a while, but always chickened out. But, when Clinique rocked up with a brand new range of blushers I just couldn't say no.

After some serious swatching I opted for Ginger Pop -one of the most vibrant shades from the collection. The colour is especially flattering when teamed with a tan, and swept subtly along the cheeks. The formula is also seriously pigmented meaning that the slightest of sweeps is more than enough to secure that summer glow.

I can't get enough of my new find - and I will definitely be popping more Cheek Pops into my summer make up collection!

I've been getting back into lipsticks this month. When the sun starts to creep in, I tend to ditch heavy lipsticks in exchange for subtle stains and balms.

But, when I spotted this little beauty in my local Boots - I was definitely in the mood to try something new.

Thanks to it's matte formula, I found this lipstick really long lasting. I either applied all over the lips for a bolder option, or patted in with my favourite lip balm for a more paired down look.

I found the colour really flattering - alongside my summer tan. Plus the packaging is to die for - dream!

I am obsessed with the formula of this foundation!

I don't often wear much foundation in the summer months, instead opting for some tactical concealer blending.

But I've found that this is the perfect base for dressier endeavours or where a little extra skin perfection is need. I find the formula really velvety and not at all greasy on my skin.

It's also a really bendable formula, making for super speedy application.

Chanel Correcteur Perfection in shade Beige Pétale

This was my staple product on holiday! For a polished, yet natural look - I would dot a tiny amount around my eyes and then blend it in.

It would leave my skin looking perfected and even without being too heavy or cakey. This one is truly a dream for super sunny evenings.

I know I'm a little late to the party with this one. It seems that everyone and their mother is a fan of this firm French fave.

But when Feel Unique suddenly started stocking this beauty blogger essential, I decided it was time to get in on the action, and try some for myself - and I love it!

I usually use this right before I cleanse, I pour a generous helping onto a cotton pad and sweep all over my face.

I'll definitely be repurchasing, and recommending to everyone I know!

I used to be obsessed with this product, but never got around to repurchasing.

It's been almost a year since my last tub, and it's safe to say I've missed this little beauty!

The balm is so clarifying on the skin, and literally melts any traces of make up away. It's super quick to use and smells amazing!

I will never let this one slip through my fingers again!

So, that's a wrap on this mid-month favourites!
xx
