My new favourite matte lip: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick

We've got a lot to thank Charlotte Tilbury for, she's the master of contour and the queen of the smoky eye, but her Matte Revolution Lipsticks are the latest discovery to shake up my make up bag.

Day-to-day I usually reach for something creamy or glossy. I don't have much time for touch ups , so I need something that's going to wear off subtly and isn't going to leave me with any scary smudges or lines around my mouth.

For me, Mac's Syrup tends do the job. What's not to love? It's super hydrating, comfortable to wear, and leaves everything coated in a pretty mauvey pink - sigh.

But when I'm looking for something a little bolder, Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution Lipsticks tick all the boxes...

These lipsticks go against everything you'd expect from a matte lip product. Unlike most formulas, they aren't heavy or drying, and don't crisp up on your lips after a couple of hours*insert hallelujah emjoi.

The clever square bullet makes them super easy to apply, and means you can go rogue and forgo lip liner on this occasion.

All the shades from the collection are to die for but my favourite is Amazing Grace - a slightly plummy pink.
