Exposed

Because it's too warm to worry about covering up...

Life is full of rules. Pay your bills. Don't eat ice cream for breakfast. Take good care of your skin.

Some of these I take with a pinch of salt - who doesn't want ice cream for breakfast? But there are other that I stick to religiously. Namely, taking good care of my skin.

My skin and I have a complicated relationship. After years of trials and tribulations, we're finally in a  good place. Well, most of the time anyway...

Part of that journey has definitely been finding a skincare routine that works for me, something which has become particularly important since moving to the big city.

Most of the time, I take a no fuss, no frills approach to skincare. I know what I like and what works for me, and I never tend to stray from the tracks, but amongst the old favourites there's a new product that's managed to sneak it's way into my routine The Ordinary's Natural Moisturising Factors +HA.

I'm now onto my second bottle and I can honestly say I love it. It's hard to believe Deceim have been able to produce such a high quality product at just £6. I massage a pea size amount into my skin morning and night, after cleansing.

It's let my skin in such great condition,  that I've been able to cut down my make up routine. I've been leaving the house with just a dusting of concealer and a wash of mascara to brighten my eyes in the morning. Something I've been particularly grateful for in this sticky London heat.
