It's finally time to introduce you to something I've been working on for a while. Welcome to The Busy Girl's Guide to Life.
The Edited Life was a name I dreamt up a few years ago, when I first dipped my toe into the world of blogging. I was in uni and completely obsessed with buying/talking/writing about clothes. I would drive my family and friends mad with my outfit ideas and wishlists, so I decided to find a little corner of the internet where I could share everything I was loving, wearing and wanting without boring everyone I knew to tears.
I'll be honest, I didn't have a clue what I was doing. My pictures were taken on an old Samsung phone, I didn't know how to edit and my writing took on a new style each week - but, I loved it. It's got me through the driest essays, the most boring days at work and the rainiest Sunday afternoons.
Up to now, my content has mainly revolved around fashion with the odd lifestyle or beauty piece thrown in for good measure, but this year my life has changed and I'm ready to share more of it with you. The good, the bad and everything in-between.

I'm living in a new city, with a new job and a new home. I love my life and it's a whole lot busier than it used to be, but I wouldn't swap it for the world. I'm becoming more confident, independent and even more excited about the future. The move has also helped me to learn some valuable life lessons, which have become the inspiration behind the new name and focus of my blog. Stick with me, I'm about to get to the point...

I'll always love talking about fashion, that isn't about to change - but, there are other things I want to share with you too. The products I'm using, the things I'm choosing to fill my home with, the places I'm visiting at the weekend and the little life hacks I've found on my travels.
Yes, I'm busy and the content I produce will always have the busy girl's interests at heart, but it isn't a place to boast about our work loads or how long we have to grind on into the night, but somewhere we can all work together to find a little bit of balance.
